Cardiff City Hall Wedding (Featured in Rock N Roll Bride Magazine!)

My gorgeous friends Hanna and Elis got married in September 2021 in one of the most colourful, chilled and fun weddings I’ve ever been to. They knew they didn’t want a traditional wedding, and with 4 months to plan their day - they nailed it.

Hanna and Elis rocked up to Cardiff City Hall in seperate taxis. They drank prosecco with their family and friends on the lawn before heading in together to their ceremony. These two were so in tune, relaxed and happy. I think a big difference in this wedding was that you didn’t have that initial build up before the ceremony where the guests and groom only see the bride as she’s walking down the aisle. It’s something I haven’t seen before and it changed the whole pre-ceremony atmosphere. Everyone was just excited, relaxed and so happy! It removed all of those initial formalities and I just think it was TOTALLY LUSH.

Their reception was at Motel Nights in Canton, which was the perfect backdrop to their colourful rock n roll party. Street food, dancing, ice cream - they just did everything that made them happy. They wanted a small, fun, non-traditional wedding and they stuck to their guns.

I’m also bloomin thrilled to say that this wedding has just been featured in issue 45 of Roch N Roll Bride Magazine. A total dream come true for me, and the perfect reward for Hanna and Elis who designed their perfect, alternative wedding.
