Colourful marquee wedding in West Wales

Elin and Aled waited years for their wedding day - but boy was it worth the wait!

These two were forced to cancel their wedding twice due to covid. But this extra time made sure that every single detail of their wedding was perfect.  From the decor to the entertainment - everything was so well executed!

Elin has such a close-knit set of friends and family and everyone was involved in the prep of the day.  They got married in the church that her parents were married in.  The ceremony was full of singing and laughing, and her friends organised a surprise song for them after they’d signed the registry.  The church radiated with love and joy.  They even had home-made Chelsea buns on the way out of the church as a nod to Aled’s Dad.

The venue was a marquee on Aled’s farm.  They filled the marquee with so many colourful details which told the story of their life together - I can’t imagine how long it took to organise everything, they had thought of every single detail, an ode to their careers in television and agriculture, their families and their joy of traveling!

Also a massive shout out to my second shooter on the day, Betsan from Celf Calon. Having her there was so amazing and meant we could be in 2 places at once! Diolch Betsan, ti’n wych!

I had so much fun at this wedding and I am still so impressed at the amount of work that went into this day.  Elin ac Aled - odd e werth yr aros!  Chi’n anhygoel! xxx
