Intimate, romantic wedding at Pontypridd Registry Office

22.07.22

Where do I start with these two?

This was one of those days where I have to pinch myself that this is my actual job.

Getting to hang out with two beautiful souls, on their important day, and getting to witness first hand what true love really looks like. I’m sorry. This is a soppy one. But you can see why…

These two knew what their priorities were when it came to getting married. Being together before the ceremony, having time alone surrounded by the beauty of nature, somewhere meaningful. Meg & Charlie chose a simple 2 hour wedding package for their laid-back informal wedding.  It was so refreshing and so honest.  Just two people wanting to marry each other, without all the bells and whistles that might traditionally come with a wedding day.

I met them at Ynys Angharad Park in Pontypridd. Meg (the genius that she is) made her amazing dress, AS WELL AS Charlie’s shirt and bow tie. They looked amazing, I still can’t get over how people are able to create such beautiful things by hand.

We strolled around the park and found some lovely quiet spots to take some photos, before walking over to Pontypridd registry office, and in a small ceremony with their lovely families, they tied the knot.

We managed to get a lot into those two hours, and overall I think you’ll agree, these images capture true, honest, raw love.

It was such a privilege to be with you before your ceremony.  Thank you for letting me be a part of your day xxx
