Capturing Ceri and Gwi's Intimate Celebration
Writing about your best friend's wedding is a delicate dance between documenting the day and holding back tears of joy. As a guest and the photographer, I found myself straddling the line between getting those crucial shots and savoring every moment of Ceri and Gwi's beautiful day.
Bridal prep takes on a different tone when it's your best friend in the spotlight. Ensuring I captured those essential photos while remaining present was a beautiful challenge. But, I'm fortunate to love what I do, and as it turns out, documenting Ceri and Gwi's day was the most natural and enjoyable experience.
Ceri and Gwi, being inherently photogenic, made my job a breeze. Knowing them so well allowed for a bit of friendly bullying, all in good spirits, of course!
Their journey started at Caernarfon registry office, and then they whisked away to Y Baracs in Nantlle, just a stone’s throw from their home. This location, with Ceri's yoga studio at its heart, held deep meaning. Nestled in the embrace of Eryri, surrounded by mountains and slate, a big tipi stood as a symbol of their love – relaxed, cool, and undeniably chic.
The simplicity of the day was its charm, and as the images reflect, it was nothing short of stunning. Here's to love, laughter, and capturing every cherished moment. Caru chi gymaint xxxxx
